Sticky Thing scores new campaign for Covered California
Sticky Thing Music partnered with creative agency Duncan Channon to score This Way to Health Insurance, a statewide campaign for Covered California launched during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. With a special enrollment period opening to help more Californians access health coverage, the goal was clear: cut through the noise and get people to take action.
Sticky Thing composed a driving, high-energy track designed to grab attention from the first beat. Bold and focused, the score pushes the campaign’s message forward — reinforcing the urgency of getting covered without sacrificing clarity or tone.
“The animation and messaging already had a clear point of view — our job was to amplify it,” said Mike Blankenship, founder of Sticky Thing Music. “We wanted the music to feel like urgency in motion — something that grabs your ear and keeps you locked in, start to finish.”
